for
Film and Video
Join us for our extensive 2-day Seminar and learn the art of recording sound on location for film and video. This hands-on instructional covers all aspects of recording and the techniques used in the film and video industry. Our 2-day, 10 hour per day classes give you the hands-on experience you will need and use to capture clean, usable sound in the field or on a sound stage. Quality motion pictures, commercials and documentaries all start with clean location sound. This means an efficient marriage of picture and sound for the post house. These two extensive days are taught by industry professionals with decades of experience working in the motion picture business. You will learn sound for features, commercials, documentaries, industrials, talk shows, and reality shows. Today's industry demands the ability to be able to mix for film, high definition, Beta Cam, DV Cam, and Mini DV Cam. All these formats are used every day on national television and in movie theatres nationwide. Wes is teaching the importance of capturing quality location sound...it matters when the picture and sound are married in the post house. You get one chance to get good location sound...get it right!
